QUICK TURKEY NACHOS SNACK

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 package (1-1/4 ounces) taco seasoning
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 package (12 ounces) tortilla chips
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 4 green onions, chopped

Directions:

  1. In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook turkey until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles; drain. Add taco seasoning and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered until thickened 8-10 minutes.
  2. Arrange tortilla chips on an ungreased baking sheet. Top with turkey and cheese. Broil 4 in. from the heat until cheese is melted, 2-3 minutes. Top with lettuce, sour cream, salsa and onions.
